Happy Birthday Jackson James!

Jack turned 2 last week! I can't believe that my baby is already 2 years old. He kind of had a "not so formal" birthday. There has been so much going on this summer! The end of the year school stuff, packing, moving, unpacking, friends visiting, sister having her baby, inability to cut the strings from our rent house, lake time, family visits....... We have had a very busy summer so far ... but we have been having a blast. We have thousands of pictures to show for it but I am a little behind and usually pass out from exhaustion each night so I haven't done my postings.

Anyways....I thought I would start with celebrating Jackson James....Jack Jack. He started his birthday by picking out his own outfit.... He saw that fish shirt and wouldn't wear anything else :)

That night we were over at Grammy and Grampy's because my brother, Tim, and his family came down from Vermont and so we were welcoming them. The kids first choice of activity was swimming so that is what we did :).

Jack doing the little dance he does for most food. He actually spent most of the day walking around singing "Happy Happy Day" The next morning he changed his song to "Happy Happy Cake!" Jack loves to sing! (Not sure why Anni is scowling in the corner.)

Grammy and Anni made these really cute cupcakes that day so they became Jack's birthday cake.

Everyone wanted to help blow out the candles!

Last year he wouldn't even touch his cake to his mouth.....my....how he has changed in a year!
He is such a happy boy who really LOVES life! I can't imagine my life without him. He loves being the clown of the family. Once he does something that makes someone laugh there is no stopping him. And he finally started talking. About 2 months ago he discovered words and now he is either talking or singing all day long. He loves to blame things on the dogs...especially our puppy, Harley. He has the 3 word sentence thing down and will blame so much on her...."Harley ate baba (his pacifier)"..."Harley peed on floor" "Harley ate cake" "Harley ate toy"....and on and on....most of the time he is right.

Happy Belated Birthday Jackson!!!! We love you so much and look forward to more of the amazing things you have yet to do!
